Deaf & Blind Shelter Pup & Her ‘Seeing-Eye’ Brother Have Found A Home Together

Remember Star, the blind puppy who gets around with the help of her brother, Denver? The adorable duo has now found a forever home, TOGETHER!

The pair left the Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe, California, and went with their new mom and dad to their new home in Encinitas.

The couple fell in love with Star and Denver and just knew they had to adopt them.

When they went to the center to pick them up, they were brought to tears when they learned that their adoption fees were fully sponsored by a generous donor.

They will also go home with a year’s supply of dog food!

Star and Denver ended up at Helen Woodward Animal Center after a cruel person abandoned a mama dog and her eight 3-month-old puppies.

Thankfully, a good Samaritan found them and kept the mom, and her litter went on to be cared for by the rescue.

Upon arrival of the puppies, staff realized that one of the pups was different from the rest.

All of the puppies ran around the center, except one. This one puppy in particular (Star) began showing signs of special needs. That’s when they realized that she was deaf and nearly blind.

Amazingly enough, one of Star’s litter-mates, Denver, took it upon himself to look after Star as her own personal guide dog! Denver remains by Star’s side to help her as she learns to use her other senses to get around.

The two of them are rarely apart, and whenever they’re separated, Denver always comes running back to Star to let her know he was there.

Thankfully, the two of them were able to find a loving forever home together, so that Denver can continue to help his sister navigate through life!
