Ken claims that Cheyenne, his 6-year-old Pit Bull-Labrador mix, saved his life during a massive heart attack.

He was in deep slumber when the 85-pound dog “body-slammed” him with full-force. She kept barking anxiously until he was wide awake.

Ken was confused by Cheyenne’s uncharacteristic behavior, as she is otherwise a well-behaved dog who never acts so aggressively.

By the time Ken was lucid, he felt unbearable pain in his chest and realized the reason for Cheyenne’s erratic and disturbed behavior.

Within the next few minutes, Ken somehow drove to a local hospital and admitted himself. The doctors confirmed that he was having a severe heart attack and they transferred him to a better facility.

He received emergency treatment for the 99 percent blockage of his left ventricle, which ultimately saved his life!

The doctors believe that Ken would have died in his sleep if it wasn’t for Cheyenne’s immediate action to alert her dad.

Ken hopes that his experience moves people to look favorably upon the Pit Bull breed. This 52-year-old man truly has a guardian angel looking out for him in the form of his dog!
