Sometimes a makeover is for vanity, but for Charlie the shelter dog, a makeover meant the difference between life and death.
That’s because the terrier mix puppy, who was found on the side of the road, was in a Los Angeles high-kill shelter where quick adoption and appearance matter.
When he arrived at the shelter earlier this year, he was covered in dirt and had painful matted hair. Fortunately for Charlie, the folks at Hollywood Grooming were there to step in and make him shine.
Check out the full story of Charlie's amazing transformation on the next page!

Next time he’s groomed, leave the eyebrows longer; some groomers call it the Daisy groom. Dogs with long hair may suffer eye damage from sunlight if the eyes aren’t shaded.

He was cute with the long hair too. Just needed a bath and a good brushing. 🙂
