Bulldog Chained Up In Blistering 100-Degree Heat Was Cut Free Just In Time

Tia Torres is a renowned Pit Bull terrier trainer and a founder of the Villalobos Rescue Center, a rehabilitation and placement center that houses hundreds of abused and abandoned dogs of all breeds.

During her time rescuing dogs, she has seen the worst of the worst. From dogs who were abandoned and left for dead, to dogs whose owners starve them, Tia has saved dogs in all different situations.

One of those was a bulldog who was found chained up with an electrical cord in 100-degree heat. Luckily, she found him just in time, because he wouldn’t have survived much longer in that blistering heat.

The Bulldog was so thankful and relieved to finally be cut free. He sported a big grin on his face as he was walking to freedom.

After Tia cut him loose, she gave him water since he was extremely dehydrated. And by the looks of his ribs poking through his filthy skin, he was also very malnourished.

Tia and her helpers then brought him back to the Villalobos Rescue Center, where he was given a bath to rid of the dirt and fleas.

Unfortunately, he tested positive for heartworm, but was immediately put on a treatment for it and is expected to make a full recovery.

He was then placed in a loving foster home to heal before he is ready to find his forever home.
