Brewery Puts Shelter Dogs On Beer Cans Hoping They’ll Get Adopted

A brewery in Bradenton, Florida hopes people will pop a top and down a nice cold brew to help a local animal shelter.

Motorworks Brewing teamed up with Shelter Manatee to help dogs find forever homes, and their idea is working!

On their Facebook page, Motorworks Brewing shared, “Partnering with this month’s cause, Shelter Manatee, we are excited to release an exclusive ADOPTABLE DOG Cruiser Kölsch 4-PACK. Proceeds go to Shelter Manatee to help build the new shelter for our less fortunate four-legged friends.”

According to Barry Elwonger, the Director of Sales and Marketing, the brewery was talking with Shelter Manatee folks at a recent “Yappy Hour” event. They were all chatting and came up with the idea to raise awareness and help dogs find forever homes.

Of the four dogs featured so far, two of them have been adopted, while two still await their happy ending.

“We are huge animal lovers here. Huge dog people. We have this massive 14,000 square foot beer garden, it’s the largest beer garden in the state. And it’s always dog-friendly out in the beer garden, we love to share this,” Elwonger stated.
