She Was Caged In Dark Puppy Mill Basement & Used As A Puppy Machine All Her Life

The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) followed up on a tip about an abusive puppy mill and ended up in a dark basement filled with cages full of terrified dogs.

All of these 150 dogs were kept like stock in cramped spaces, and had never been outdoors or seen sunlight.

The rescuers were particularly harrowed to see the plight of one Poodle named B.B. She was lifeless and her mammary glands had swollen from over-breeding.

It was clear that she had spent her whole life in that dreary cage as a puppy-machine.

One of the rescuers scooped B.B. in her arms and took her outside. The poor dog crumbled into her arms with squinted eyes as she felt the joyful rays of the sun for the first time.

She was rejuvenated and it sparked a glimmer of hope in her for a better life. She’s healthy now and looking for a home.

Share B.B’s story and help her find a forever home!

Update: We are happy to learn that the HSUS was able to shut the puppy mill down and rescue every single dog. As for B.B., a local vet clinic receptionist named Brenda Tortoreo volunteered to adopt the tortured girl. B.B. now lives happily with her new mom and two doggy siblings!

Brenda tears up every time she thinks of the unimaginable abuse her little princess went through. B.B. was initially uncomfortable as she never knew how to be a pet.

Everything was new to her and she was terrified. But with her mama’s love and lots of toys, she has turned into one happy puppy!

Check out the video below to watch B.B.’s tear-jerking journey from the hellish puppy mill to her sweet new home!
