Abandoned Dog Finds Woman Lying Motionless, Comes Closer To “Check On Her”

Amanda is one of the founders of “Lost & Found Pets Wa State”, and she is committed to the cause of reuniting families with their lost pets.

One day, she heard about an unapproachable skeletal dog roaming around in the woods near Evans Creek for weeks. The woman immediately sensed that the dog was a lost or abandoned baby.

Amanda swiftly drove to the isolated area and tracked down the dog. She found him sitting on the roadside with the saddest face, but the scared pooch bolted off the minute he saw her.

Amanda waited till 3 AM to rescue the dog, but no amount of food was enough to win his trust.

After days filled with failed rescue attempts, a desperate Amanda finally resorted to an outlandish tactic to gain the dog’s attention.

She lied down on the bitterly cold ground in a fetal position and waited for the dog to approach her.

Initially, the dog was confused to see Amanda lying motionless on the road, and he wandered off after 20 minutes.

However, the woman didn’t give up and followed the dog everywhere. The dog was definitely curious as he noticed Amanda’s “disturbing” tendency to doze off around him.

The freezing temperature gradually began taking its toll on Amanda. Even so, the tenacious woman curled up like a ball on a grassy patch of land to lure in the elusive dog.

After hours of perseverance, the kind-hearted dog simply got “frustrated” to see the “human girl with zero survival skills”.

He resolved to “help” her and started sniffing her to see if she was okay! Aww!

Once the dog warmed up to Amanda, it became easy for her to coax him into getting rescued! Amanda named the dog “Baby Bear” and took him to the vet for much-needed medical attention.

The dog wouldn’t have made it in the barren wilderness, but he recovered thanks to his stubborn savior!

In an update to this story, Amanda explained that she went through 2 years worth of missing dog reports to locate Baby Bear’s owners, but found nothing.

As the dog went unclaimed for 30 days, she eventually helped him find a new forever family in Tacoma. Amanda is one incredible human being!
