Woman Caught Dumping Dogs At Shelter After Being Turned Away Earlier In Day

Thanks to security cameras at an animal shelter in San Antonio, Texas, one woman is under being investigated for dumping two Chihuahuas after being turned away.

The woman went to the Animal Care Services facility trying to surrender her two dogs earlier in the day. Because she did not live within the jurisdiction of the facility, she was told she could not drop the dogs there.

Later that day night before 6 p.m., video footage captured the woman exiting a white vehicle with the two pups in her arms. She approached the shelter, let the dogs go, and ran back to her car.

The poor animals chased after her, and one was almost hit by the moving vehicle as they pulled away.

Both dogs are in the care of the shelter and are being treated for heat stress. Thankfully, investigators have a license plate, address, and phone number of the suspect.
